Infographic: How accessible are Covid testing stations?

Originally submitted: March 2022

For this task, we were told to take an 'unusual journey' - a trip using a mode of transport we wouldn't normally use - and document our experience in an infographic.

Right when I was due to complete the assignment, one of my flatmates tested positive for Covid. At first this seemed like it would inhibit me from being able to take any sort of journey at all as we were now stuck in isolation, but there was one trip we still had to make: a trip to a Covid testing station.

"But wait," I hear you say. "You said you had to use an unusual mode of transport, but you took the car!" That's true. The thing is, travelling via car is unusual for me - typically I cycle, walk, or take the bus. It's probably the biggest step you can make in reducing your environmental impact, but I do accept that there are some trips where these modes are simply not feasible - and for many people, going to a Covid testing station is one of those trips.
