About me

I am an aspiring data scientist currently completing a Master of Applied Data Science at Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | The University of Canterbury. My background is in the Arts, having completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Spanish and minoring in Geography and Political Science and International Relations, as well as a Certificate in Arts in Māori and Indigenous Studies and Education.

I enjoy using the skills I've gained from my studies to create data science projects which are purposeful, insightful and critical. I am particularly drawn towards spatial data science and analysing societal data.

Outside of my studies, you might find me cycling around Ōtautahi | Christchurch, birdwatching along the Ōtākaro | Avon River, or brainstorming ways to reduce my plastic waste.
